membership rules

Our membership is Private, Exclusive and limited to 333 Active Members. All are welcome to join the cult and undergo the voice verification process, however, only new users who adhere to the culture of the dead rabbit will be awarded membership. In order for our staff to effectively administer our community, the following membership rules are followed:

1. Membership is limited to 333 active members are any given time.

2. All accounts must be at minimum, 30 days old.

3. All users joining the cult must accept an NSFW disclaimer on join. We are not an NSFW community, however, by accepting the Discord disclaimer, you are legally stating that you are over the age of majority (18).

4. All users joining the cult must undergo a short voice verification with one of our cult staff members. You will be asked a few non-personal questions, and be informed of the rules and the culture of the community to ensure a fair understanding.

5. Cult membership is a once-in-a-lifetime award, you may stay as long as you want, but you cannot return once you leave. Re-joining the cult with an alternate account after you have exited is ban-avoidance, and a violation of Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. 

Users will ONLY be banned under the following circumstances:

5. • New user joined with a Discord account less than 30 days old.

   • New user rejected voice verification.

   • New user did not voice verify within 5 days of joining the cult.

   • New user joined and breached any of the rules or culture of the dead rabbit prior, during, or after voice verification.

   • Voluntarily renouncing your membership by leaving the cult.

   • Accounts disabled by Discord due to a breach of Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

   • New Member did not adhere to the cult of the dead rabbit.

   • Member or New Member has broken any of the 3 rules of the cult (listed above).

   • Member or New Member has not adhered to the culture of the dead rabbit and was removed by unanimous administrator vote.

6. All users who have undergone voice verification, and have been awarded membership, will be placed in a probationary role called the @New Member role. During the probationary period, New Members must observe the following:

   • Adhere to the rules and culture of the dead rabbit in its entirety

   • Maintain voice activity by participating in community voice chats

7. All @New Members will have limited visibility and access to the community's content channels for privacy and security reasons. The community will be fully functional, however, certain channels may be hidden, or read only.

8. All qualifying @New Members will be upgraded to the @Member role by an Administrator during weekly membership reviews.

9. Members in the cult of the dead rabbit also receive the following benefits:

   • Complete access to all community content channels and voice chats (with the exception of staff channels)

   • Transparency with access to the Discord Audit Log and all server logs (with the exception of deleted messages, and modmail)

   • The ability to create and manage (your own) server events

   • Ability to create and manage your own voice chat channel, create and manage your own threads.

10. Any @Member that becomes inactive during their tenure in the cult of the dead rabbit, will be removed from the membership, and limited to the Inactive channel. You will not be able to access or view any areas of the community besides the Inactive channel. Members in the Inactive channel may re-instate their membership (provided there are membership openings) by contacting a cult staff member, or by reacting to the message posted in the Inactive channel.
